* Full Time 12-month opportunity for a dedicated Digital Health Research Manager
* providing support in Child Development and Mental Health for project delivery, research strategy and innovation across major MRFF programs
* Base Salary $112,628 + 17% superannuation
About the opportunity

The University of Sydney is seeking a Digital Health Research Manager in Child Development and Mental Health to support project delivery, research strategy and innovation across major MRFF funded and contract based research programs. This role plays a key part in co-development and implementing digital health solutions that improve outcomes for children and families, with a strong focus on neurodevelopmental and mental health research.

You will work with leading academics, including the Michael Crouch Chair of Child & Youth Mental Health, Professor Adam Guastella, contributing to high impact projects and cross sector collaborations across clinical, research and commercial environments.

Your key responsibilities will be to:
* lead best practice in research operations, ensuring compliance and innovation across methodologies and governance
* direct support design and implementation of advanced data management systems and digital research tools
* oversee research documentation, ethical submissions, reporting, and dissemination of findings
* evaluate and optimise grant management processes to maximise funding opportunities and successful acquisitions
* build and manage external partnerships to enhance research impact
* support financial processes including purchasing and resolving payment discrepancies
* support team collaboration and stakeholder engagement, responding to inquiries and building strong internal networks
* monitor organisational risk and promote WHS compliance.
About you

We are looking for a Digital Health Research Manager who has:

* A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of training and experience
* demonstrable experience communicating with a wide variety of stakeholders, across both written and oral formats.
* experience in working with children and families in research settings, including:
* participant recruitment
* completion of assessments
* working with research databases including building projects, data entry, data curation and management, data extraction for analysis
* experience working with clinical services and health systems (e.g., as part of a clinical team, or conducting research in clinical and health service settings)
* demonstrable experience working on clinical trials, including managing ethics and governance submissions
* strong analytical, critical thinking and decision making skills
* experience in research administration, data management and reporting
* strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage effectively with children, families and stakeholders
* demonstrated skills using research software, statistical tools and evidence based research approaches
* proven experience coordinating grants, managing research documentation and working in research intensive environments.
Highly Desirable
* understanding of digital health ecosystems and mental health service systems
* experience in the higher education sector
* experience managing staff performance and development.
