Role Summary
Key Responsibilities:
1. Field Service Work/Workshop Repairs: Attend sites, perform field work, handle breakdowns, preventative maintenance, installation, and commissioning. Workshop tasks involve dismantling, assembly, cleaning of parts, and utilizing precision equipment and machinery while adhering to safety rules and considering site conditions.
2. Planning/Coordination: Prepare and control all necessary materials, equipment, and documentation for site activities, organized in accordance with contractual and supplementary documentation.
3. Repair: Conduct detailed inventories and inspections to determine required maintenance and report findings. Troubleshoot and repair equipment, recommending changes for improved performance and customer satisfaction.
4. Reporting: Prepare technical and work reports for customer representative signatures.
5. Customer Regulations: Obtain required passes or attend classes to initiate works.
Required Background:
Experience in rotating machinery service, particularly in turbocharging service, is preferred. Familiarity with turbochargers and product service knowledge of various types installed on two-stroke or four-stroke engines are advantages.
The individual must have knowledge and skills in operating rotating machinery, such as balancing machines, lathes, and drills, as well as proficiency in using metrics and measuring tools.
Proficiency in English language and strong communication skills are also essential.
Approximately 40% travel to sites for field service work is expected.
