Electrical & Instrumentation Technician
We are seeking an experienced electrical and instrumentation technician to join our team in Townsville.
About the Role
* Support the development, investigation, and implementation of machine projects and technologies.
* Fault-finding, maintenance, and repair of cathode plate manufacturing facilities to ensure optimal operation.
* Conduct routine audits to support clients and external stakeholders.
* Troubleshoot and optimize PLCs, robotics, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
* Maintain strong relationships with clients and suppliers.
Requirements
* Mechanical maintenance experience working with PLC, Robotics, pneumatic and Hydraulic machinery.
* Experience in Copper/Zinc refineries or electrowinning maintenance is highly desirable.
* Engineering qualification or specific industry and practical experience.
* Electrical and automation experience is advantageous.
* Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate technical and commercial issues with clients.
