Overview

Our Share the Dignity team is growing and we are looking for a full-time Accounts Receivable Administrator to join our Finance and Strategy team. Are you a friendly, motivated, professional, and highly organised administrator ready to assist with accounts receivable and data integrity processes?

Responsibilities

* Support monitoring income, identifying variances, and ensuring funds are accurately recorded in the financial ledgers and reconciled across income streams.
* Reconcile transactions arising from workplace giving programs, regular giving streams, donations, dispenser income and other income generated from key campaigns across Salesforce, fundraising platforms and the financial system (Xero).
* Work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners, monitor outstanding receivables, maintain an up-to-date aged debtors report and follow up overdue accounts where required.
* Administer and maintain accurate financial and donor data across Salesforce and Xero to support growing transaction volumes generated by workplace giving, regular giving and capital campaigns.
* Log issues promptly, problem solve basic issues and escalate technical issues that may impact income processing, reconciliation, financial data and/or other delegated Salesforce issues/tasks.

To Be a Successful Candidate

* Experience working with Xero Financial Management system
* Cert IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping, together with relevant experience, or demonstrated previous experience in a similar role; intermediate Microsoft Office skills
* Sound knowledge of business and financial principles and practices
* Excellent numerical skills
* Strong organisational skills
* Ability to keep within timeframes and deadlines and prioritise effectively to ensure team success
* Ability to exercise sound judgment, initiative, confidentiality, and sensitivity
* Willingness to obtain a Working with Children Check prior to commencing in the role

Desirable Skills

* Experience working in a not-for-profit or charity organisation is an advantage
* Experience working with Salesforce or other Customer Relationship Systems
* Knowledge of PayPal, Stripe, Smartsheets and Funraisin Fundraising Platform
* Experience with online shop payment processing systems
* Troubleshooting basic common IT issues

Brisbane, Northern Suburbs - Virginia.
