Construction Safety Oversight Specialists
This critical role entails observing construction activities from a comprehensive health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standpoint.
The successful candidate will ensure adherence to relevant regulations and established company standards while safeguarding employee health and safety.
* Conduct on-site observations of construction activities from an HSE perspective.
* Document activities in accordance with required HSE performance standards.
* Provide training to on-site Client staff and subcontractors on HSE oversight program requirements.
* Collaborate with the Client's HSE personnel to administer project directives throughout the project.
* Report on compliance with safety procedures among project staff and trade contractors.
* Maintain necessary safety-related documentation, including safety orientation training, Job Hazard Analyses (JHA), and toolbox talk summaries.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in construction management, safety, or occupational health and safety is preferred.
* 8+ years of full-time on-site experience in construction-specific HSE leadership.
* Certification in the field; CHST, ASP/CSP, CIH, PE, or similar registration is highly desirable.
* Strong understanding of OSHA General Industry and construction standards.
