Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Information Communication Technology Specialist based in Mackay, QLD. The specialist will oversee the implementation, management, and maintenance of communication and technology infrastructure. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing system performance, administering network operations, providing technical support, maintaining service desk activities, and contributing to project management efforts for IT and communication systems. The role demands hands-on involvement in ensuring optimal system functionality and security for enterprise-level clients.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in Information Technology and Network Administration to manage and optimize IT infrastructure.
* Strong skills in Technical Support and addressing Service Desk queries to provide timely troubleshooting and solutions to end-users.
* Familiarity with Project Management to support and coordinate the execution of communication and IT projects.
* Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to handle complex technical issues effectively.
* Knowledge of security systems, wireless communication networks, and cabling solutions is highly preferred.
* Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and strong communication skills to collaborate across various stakeholders.
* Relevant certifications in IT or networking (e.g., CCNA, Microsoft certifications) are advantageous.
