About the role
Full time role
* Act in a manner that promotes the best interest of the children
* Work with the team to develop and implement a high quality educational curriculum for all enrolled children that is consistent with the service philosophy, policies and procedures and the National quality standards, the early years framework, the education and care services national regulation and the educational services law
* Role model positive relationships for children in our care
* Planning and development of an inclusive environment to support every child's learning
* Demonstrate respect & build and maintain positive relationships with families at service
* Build Collaborative relationships with all staff in service based on trust, respect and honesty
* Engage in professional conversations with other educators
* Ability to support children's learning and development that incorporates the principals, practices and outcomes of the Early Years Learning Framework
* Advocate for children as competent learners and plan for their learning through purposeful interactions and teaching.
* Be a mentor and support to your colleagues so that consistent care and education is offered across the service.
* Must demonstrate initiative to support the service as a whole.
* Must have strong time management skills
* Must be passionate and invested in your work and workplace
