About the Role
This role is perfect an experienced Property Paralegal OR a Junior/Graduate Lawyer with a genuine interest in property law.
Working remotely, you will manage conveyancing files from start to finish and play a key role in supporting clients and solicitors. You will be supported by 2 offshore staff.
You MUST possess excellent communication and people skills as this role requires plenty of client contact - taking enquiries, conveying communications and maintaining relationships during the running of their matters.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Overseeing conveyancing files from start to finish
* Handling client enquiries and answering phones with professionalism
* Booking appointments with solicitors and managing schedules
* Speaking directly with clients to provide updates and support
* Problem solving and assisting with new enquiries
* Using programs including Smokeball, Outlook, MS Word, Nitro, and Chrome
This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same. You'll be supported with full training and mentoring, along with a bonus incentive program for the right candidate.
Whilst your role will initially be 100% property law focused, you will have the opportunity to gain experience across other aspects of law as part of your career development.
About You
We're looking for someone grounded, reliable, and motivated to build a career in property law.
You will bring:
* A genuine interest in property law and conveyancing
* Demonstrated knowledge and experience in Conveyancing will be HIGHLY REGARDED
* Legal experience at a practical level through an Internship or paid employment
* Strong communication skills and a client-focused approach
* Ability to problem-solve and manage files with attention to detail
* Willingness to learn new systems and processes (experience with Smokeball is a plus)
· High level time management skills with an ability to work autonomously;
· Commitment to learning, taking direction and continuous improvement;
* Reliability, common sense, and a team-oriented mindset
This role suits a recent graduate, junior lawyer, or experienced paralegal who is ready to take on responsibility and grow in a supportive environment.
