This is a newly created graduate position that can be based in our Adelaide or Sydney office to assist in maintaining and enhancing internal systems whilst ensuring best practices are followed. Additionally, the incumbent will provide comprehensive user support across various system landscapes within the organisation and assist with general organisational administration tasks.
This is a fantastic entry-level role for a recent IT graduate looking to start a career with a leading national technology company. You will be reporting to the Senior Systems Engineer and providing responsive and reliable IT support across a variety of systems and platforms used within the organisation, both remotely and in-person. This includes resolving user issues, assisting with onboarding, managing access, maintaining equipment, and contributing to ongoing process improvement.

Tasks and responsibilities:
* Provide first-line support to end-users for hardware, software, and network issues.
* Troubleshoot problems with Windows devices, Microsoft 365 apps (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint), VPN, Wi-Fi, and general network access.
* Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment, including laptops,
monitors, peripherals, mobile devices, printers, and video conferencing
systems.
* Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including provisioning accounts, configuring devices, and granting platform access.
* Build and reimage laptops, install standard applications, and perform custom setup tasks as needed.
* Manage user access to business systems and internal platforms, and maintain accurate records of devices, accounts, and entitlements.
* Collaborate with other departments to understand their IT requirements and deliver responsive, user-friendly support.
* Provide feedback to senior IT staff to improve processes, documentation, and the overall support experience.
* Assist with user education efforts on topics such as phishing awareness, password hygiene, and data protection.
* Support internal audits and compliance activities by providing system data, access logs, and documentation when required.
Qualifications and experience:
* Bachelor's degree in information technology or a related field.
* Prior experience in an IT support or helpdesk environment (including internships or volunteer work) is advantageous but not required.
Preferred Skills:
* Familiarity with Microsoft 365 apps (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint).
* Basic troubleshooting skills for Windows 10/11, network connectivity (Wi-Fi, VPN), and common peripherals (printers, webcams)
* Exposure to user account management in Active Directory or Entra ID (Azure AD).
* Understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals including MFA, phishing awareness, and secure data handling.
* Basic scripting knowledge (e.g., PowerShell) or willingness to learn.
* Reliable, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset
* Excellent effective communication skills (verbal and written)
