Procurement Specialist Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Procurement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our procurement function, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of strategic objectives within the Defence environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Developing procurement documentation: You will work closely with stakeholders to develop comprehensive procurement documents, ensuring alignment with Commonwealth panel arrangements and/or the Commonwealth Procurement Framework.
* Fostering stakeholder engagement: Strong communication skills are essential for this role, as you will need to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.
* Risk management and contract negotiation: You will be responsible for identifying and mitigating risks associated with procurement activities, as well as negotiating contracts that demonstrate value for money.
