About the role
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-oriented Front Of House All Rounder to join our team at De Nicolos Restaurant in West Mackay, QLD. As a casual role, you will play a crucial part in delivering an exceptional dining experience to our customers.
What you'll be doing
* Cleaning and setting the restaurant in the afternoon before service
* Greeting and seating customers in a friendly and welcoming manner
* Providing exceptional customer service by responding promptly to customer requests and inquiries
* Assisting with table service, including taking orders, delivering food, pouring wines at the table, serving soft drinks and clearing tables
* Maintaining a clean and organised front-of-house area
* Resolving any customer concerns or issues in a professional and courteous manner
* Playing an active role in the pack down of the restaurant including polishing glassware and cutlery, organizing tables for the next days service and general cleaning.
What we're looking for
* Previous experience in a customer-facing role within the hospitality and tourism industry, preferably in a waiting staff or front-of-house position
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanour
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively
* A passion for providing exceptional customer service and a genuine desire to exceed customer expectations
* Flexibility to work a casual schedule, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
