Exciting Mission Control Software Opportunity
This is an excellent opportunity for a talented Full Stack Developer to join our team at Lot Fourteen. You will be working on our in-house mission control system, used to operate our spacecraft currently on orbit.
Our mission control software team is passionate and driven, excited about building technology to operate spacecraft at the cutting edge of the space industry.
As this is a growing team, there is opportunity to increase the role/responsibility for the right candidate.
Key responsibilities include developing front-end and back-end software, implementing dev-ops processes for cloud-based web applications, reviewing software developed by other software developers, continual evaluation and improvement of processes within the software team, providing technical leadership across software architecture and web technologies, monitoring operations systems and troubleshooting problems when they arise, and working with engineers within the company to understand operator and system requirements.
Reporting Relationships and Key Stakeholders
This position reports to the Mission Control Team Lead.
The position will work closely with our multi-disciplinary technical team and our project management team.

We are seeking talented and motivated people who have high attention to detail and a willingness to learn, possess experience and skills in software development and management of cloud-based web applications, are excited about the opportunity to work in a small agile team with exposure to a large range of technologies, are focused on developing high quality products to meet end-user needs, are Australian Citizens, have knowledge in scaling web applications and cloud infrastructure, have five years' experience in web development, and possess expertise in web development technologies (Typescript, Vue.js, Postgres, No SQL Databases, AWS, Containerisation, Infrastructure as Code) and CI/CD.
