Why this role?
We are seeking an exceptional General Manager to lead Keilor East Manor Care Community —a vibrant, connected home providing 24/7 nursing care including long-term, dementia, palliative and respite services.
Our Care Community offers a strong sense of belonging through initiatives like intergenerational programs, live-in pets, local fairs, fundraising, book clubs, and more.
You’ll be leading a multidisciplinary team that makes a genuine difference—every day.
What you’ll do:
Lead the day-to-day operations of a thriving, purpose-driven aged care home
Inspire, support, and grow a diverse team of clinical and non-clinical professionals
Build strong relationships with residents, families, staff and the local community
Drive performance across care quality, financial results, property, and compliance
Live our values of Compassion, Accountability, Respect and Excellence
What you’ll bring:
Experience as a General Manager or senior leader in aged care, health, hospitality, or community sectors
A natural ability to influence culture, engage teams, and lead with heart
A solid commercial mindset, paired with a passion for delivering quality care
Exceptional communication skills and a hands-on leadership style
A deep understanding of quality frameworks and regulatory standards
