Job Title: Kitchen Manager / Cook
We are seeking an experienced Kitchen Manager/Cook to oversee day-to-day food operations in a small, design-led wine bar and providore.
* Responsibilities include overseeing prep, ordering and stock control, managing weekend food service, plating and presenting our menu, maintaining a clean workspace, liaising with suppliers and supporting a positive team culture.
This role requires someone who has strong organisational and service skills, works quickly under pressure, takes pride in presentation and consistency, has prior experience in a small kitchen environment, values teamwork and communication, and prefers structure over creative experimentation.
Key benefits include approximately 24 - 28 hours of work per week, including Monday for ordering/stocktake, and 2 weekend evenings. Award pay (Hospitality Level 4-5 depending on experience) is also offered without split shifts, late nights or high-pressure environment.
