Role Description:
We have an exciting 6-month contract for a Quality Assurance Analyst to work as part of our testing team for Program Jupiter. This role will support the delivery of Workday modules (Talent and Finance Management) through the identification and development of manual test scenarios and the production of test artefacts. This is an impactful and dynamic role, working for a customer focused organisation.
You will:
* Work closely with developers, business analysts, and operational SMEs to design test cases that verify business processes
* Coordinate test activities across different teams involved in test execution e.g. Business User Acceptance Testing
* Identify, document, prioritise, and track defects, working collaboratively with engineers to support timely resolution
* Plan and coordinate quality assurance activities by contributing to release planning, identifying risks, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and effective delivery.
* Partner with technical, business, and external stakeholders to refine requirements, resolve defects and incidents, share knowledge, and provide clear visibility of testing progress and outcomes.
* Ensure compliance, reporting, and continuous improvement by supporting audits, meeting regulatory and policy requirements, preparing management reports, and contributing to QA standards, innovation, and industry best practices.
Ideal candidate:
* Working knowledge of Workday modules such as Financial Management
* Familiarity with integration tools, like Workday Studio, is often required
* Strong understanding of testing methodologies, test case design, and defect lifecycle management
* Experience in developing and maintaining test cases via Test case management software, e.g. TestRail
* Experience working with an Application Life Cycle Management Tool, e.g. Devops, Jira
* Excellent collaborator with strong written and verbal communication skills
* Able to work effectively and flexibly in a changing environment
Mandatory:
* Minimum 3 years' experience in software Testing
