Job Title
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Learning Support Staff to join our team. As an integral part of our educational community, you will play a vital role in supporting students with diverse needs and abilities.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with subject teachers to implement student goals and strategies, providing in-class support and guidance as needed.
* Support students in regular class settings, yards, excursions and camps; manage timetables with the Director of Learning Enhancement.
* Assist students on the NCCD program and those with learning challenges; help develop skills, provide scaffolding, modelling and coaching.
* Withdraw a student or small group from class if requested by the subject teacher; maintain appropriate supervision.
You will be required to adhere to College policies including Child Safety and the Child Safety Code of Conduct, participate in Occhiena Team meetings and staff briefings.

Key Selection Criteria
* Commitment to the faith life of St Joseph's College and the Salesian ethos.
* Qualifications and experience as an Integration Aide or similar.
* Knowledge of relevant software and learning management systems.
* Strong interpersonal, organisational and communication skills.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism; adhere to Child Safety and related policies.
* Current First Aid Level 2 (or willingness to obtain) and WWCC.
Position is full-time or part-time as required, classified as Category B where applicable. Salary determined by the position description and qualifications/experience. Annual review process required. Start and finish times may vary. Includes a paid morning tea break and unpaid lunch break. This description may be modified by the Principal.
