Emergency Medicine Specialist Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Emergency Medicine Specialist to join our team. As an Emergency Medicine Specialist, you will provide high-level medical care in the Emergency Department, assessing, investigating, and managing patients presenting to the department.
* Providing advanced medical care in the Emergency Department, including assessment, investigation, and management of patients.
* Supervising and supporting junior medical staff in their professional development.
* Supporting completion of Emergency Medicine Certificate or Diploma through Australian College of Emergency Medicine.
* Qualifications and experience commensurate with the Essential Requirements for the role.
* Minimum 3 years postgraduate experience, including extensive recent experience in emergency medicine/critical care medicine.
* Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
* Commitment to quality improvement, patient safety, and risk management.
* Organisational and time management skills.
* Continuing professional development and commitment to self-education.
* Competency in clinical skills, including advanced life support.
