About the Role
We are focused on hiring someone with a positive attitude who wants to do a good job. Our ideal candidate will be adaptable, able to follow instructions and work as part of a team to achieve a common goal.
This is a full‑time position based in our Maddington factory (Monday to Friday, 7.6 hours per day with a 30‑minute lunch break). You will report to a Team Leader and be responsible for the efficient and safe operation of various textile printers to support the production process. A moderate fitness level is required as there is regular lifting of textile rolls involved. While previous experience using large format printers is desired, we will provide full on‑site training to the right candidate.
What you'll be doing
* Monitoring and operating large format textile printers
* Producing goods according to instructions on client job bags
* Working collaboratively with the production team to meet daily and weekly targets
* Assisting with loading, unloading and movement of raw materials and finished goods
* Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment
* Maintaining a clean and organised work area
* Performing routine maintenance and cleaning tasks to ensure optimal machine operation
* Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency
What we're looking for
* Permanent working rights in Australia
* Ability to read and understand instructions
* Attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety
* Physically fit with ability to lift and move large stock items by hand
* Fluent in English – written and spoken
* Reliable with excellent attendance record
* Happy and positive attitude
* Good communication and problem‑solving skills
* Forklift licence a bonus but not essential
