We have been producing the highest quality plaster cornices, ceiling roses and other plaster products for over 25 years and we are expanding our operations in Beenleigh.

All of our products are handcrafted from sharp, detailed moulds. Our methods reflect traditional materials combined with modern manufacturing efficiency and attention to detail that is rarely found elsewhere.

We specialise in creating detailed custom products for architects, interior designers and home decorators. These services include heritage work, restorations and reproductions. Anything is possible Allplasta Pty Ltd is Sydney and Brisbane's favourite plaster product and cornice supplier

We are recruiting for positions, in Beenleigh, Queensland and Wilberforce in Sydney, NSW.

Primary purpose of the role

The Logistics Support Officer provides integrated administrative, inventory and warehouse support services to facilitate the efficient manufacturing, storage and distribution operations of Allplasta Pty Ltd and its subsidiary companies.

Key accountabilities

* Provide a range of administrative, logistics and warehouse support services, including records management, inventory documentation and routine correspondence, to support the effective operation of Allplasta Pty Ltd.
* Coordinate the receipt, storage and dispatch of materials and finished goods, including booking freight, preparing delivery documentation and liaising with drivers, suppliers and customers.
* Safely operate machinery, vehicles and forklift equipment in line with Allplasta Pty Ltd policies and procedures (if licenced), and apply safe manual handling techniques when loading and unloading materials.
* Collect, compile and enter information to maintain accurate stock, inventory and activity records, supporting information flow and informed decision-making across manufacturing and warehouse operations.
* Complete routine financial and purchasing transactions related to stock, freight and consumables, ensuring compliance with Allplasta Pty Ltd standards and procedures.
* Respond to internal and external enquiries regarding orders, deliveries, inventory and documentation, escalating and redirecting issues as required to ensure the provision of accurate and timely information.
* Update and maintain records, databases, inventory systems and vehicle/equipment logs to comply with administrative and warehouse processes, ensuring information is accurate, stored correctly and accessible.
* Maintain a clean, safe and organised office and warehouse environment, adhering to WHS regulations and Allplasta Pty Ltd safety protocols to prevent accidents, injuries and product damage.

Key challenges

* Delivering multiple administrative, inventory and warehouse support activities in line with agreed standards, timeframes and milestones, given tight production and dispatch schedules and the need to maintain accuracy and attention to detail.
* Balancing office-based administrative duties with physically demanding warehouse tasks, while responding to changing operational priorities and unplanned issues such as urgent orders, freight delays or stock discrepancies.
* Maintaining accurate inventory and documentation in a fast-paced environment where production requirements, supplier deliveries and customer demands may change at short notice.

Job tasks

* Assist with general administrative tasks, such as data entry, filing, document management and preparation of delivery dockets, pick lists and basic reports.
* Manage incoming calls and emails relating to orders, deliveries and inventory, providing excellent customer service and directing enquiries to the appropriate team members.
* Schedule and coordinate freight pick-ups and deliveries, including liaison with transport providers and internal staff to ensure timely dispatch of goods.
* Locate and move stock of products using safe manual handling techniques; transport items to pallets, racks, crates or staging areas for storage or shipment to support timely order fulfilment.
* Transport raw materials to production workstations and remove finished goods to storage or dispatch areas to maintain production flow.
* Inspect products and materials for damage, shortages or quality deficiencies and promptly report and record any issues to supervisors/team leaders.
* Regularly inspect machinery, vehicles and forklift equipment (if licenced), complete logbooks and report any maintenance or repair needs to ensure safety and functionality.
* Keep accurate records of inventory movements, stock levels and warehouse activity logs, helping to prevent overstocking, stock-outs and discrepancies.
* Assist with basic bookkeeping-related tasks connected to logistics, such as matching delivery dockets to invoices, uploading receipts and supplier invoices, and supporting purchasing processes.
* Manage and maintain relevant client, supplier and employee documentation associated with logistics operations (e.g. delivery instructions, licences, induction records).
* Support the setup, review and continuous improvement of internal logistics and office processes, including the creation and implementation of procedures that streamline operations.
* Help maintain company vehicles used for logistics purposes, including coordination of registration, servicing, maintenance and insurance documentation.
* Maintain proficiency with computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and Allplasta Pty Ltd systems, to effectively support administrative, inventory and warehouse functions.
* Handle ad-hoc tasks as required to support manufacturing, warehouse and office operations
