The Crystal Caves is seeking an experienced Retail Manager to lead our retail and visitor experience operation in Atherton. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for the daily management of the shop floor, team leadership, sales performance, administration, and operational standards.
The Retail Manager will lead Team Leaders and Retail Assistants, ensuring a calm, organised, and high-performing environment across seven days of trade. The role combines strong people leadership with operational responsibility, including rostering, payroll, reporting, stock control, and customer experience.
Candidates must have experience managing teams of 6-10 staff members.
This position is ideal for a confident, organised, and systems-savvy retail leader who enjoys ownership, structure, and running a professional operation in a fast-paced tourism environment.
About the role
You'll be responsible for the daily leadership and operation of the retail floor, including:
* Leading and supporting Team Leaders and Retail Assistants
* Overseeing daily operations, driving sales and service standards
* Managing rosters, payroll, reporting, and administration
* 7-day roster including weekends
* Weekend availability is required as part of the seven-day roster
This role combines strong floor leadership with solid admin and systems responsibility.

You are an experienced retail or hospitality manager who:
* Is confident leading teams and holding standards
* Is highly organised and computer savvy
* Has experience with payroll, reporting, and POS systems
* Is calm under pressure and strong with decision-making
* Enjoys fast-paced, customer-facing environment
* Has experience working in tourist attractions
* Holds Australian work authorisation at the time of application
Candidates must have a minimum of 5+ years of retail management experience.
