School Psychologist – 0.4 FTE – Bombala Public School
Location: Bombala Public School, Illawarra & South Coast, Wollongong & the South Coast.
Number of positions: 1.
Base salary: $101,122 – $160,983 plus leave loading, superannuation contributions, and incentives where applicable. Rural incentives of $20,000 – $30,000 available for eligible positions.

Key Accountabilities
* Provides counselling and psychological services to students, individually and in groups, including short‐term therapeutic interventions under supervision.
* Engages with and implements the Professional Practice Framework for the NSW School Counselling Service.
* Works with school staff to improve student learning and wellbeing, supporting current departmental priorities.
* Supports students with complex behavioural needs and contributes to social, emotional, and academic development.
* Administers cognitive, social, emotional and behavioural assessments, reports results, and collaborates to improve outcomes.
* Works collaboratively with learning and support teams, parents, carers and agencies to develop school‐based support.
* Responds to serious incidents as part of a team.
* Refers students and/or families to appropriate agencies.
Essential Requirements
* Knowledge of and commitment to the Department's Aboriginal Education Policy, Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG Inc and the Diversity and Inclusion Strategy.
* General or Provisional Psychology Registration with the Psychology Board of Australia.
* Valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) clearance – NSW.
* Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel between work sites.
* Australian citizenship or permanent residency.
