About the Role Policy, Programs and Engagement Division : Embark on a career with our Policy Programs and Engagement Division, a hub of excellence that drives national programs and portfolio priorities.

The Assistant Director Project Management Practice will work within the Enterprise Portfolio Management Office (EPMO), you'll play a key role in embedding the Agency's Project Portfolio Management Framework (PPMF), supporting the Centre of Excellence, and uplifting project delivery capability across diverse programs.
Key Responsibilities Support the implementation of the Program and Project Management Centre of Excellence.
Partner with the EPMO to embed consistent project management practices across the Agency.
Mentor and coach project staff, contributing to training and capability uplift.
Coordinate workforce planning and recruitment for project teams.
Provide expert guidance on project delivery and strategic alignment.
Engage with stakeholders to promote best practice and continuous improvement.
What You'll Bring Experience in program and project delivery within public sector, ideally in digital health or complex environments 5+ years' experience in medium to large projects Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Relevant tertiary qualifications and certifications such as PRINCE2, PRINCE2 Agile, or PMP highly desirable Eligibility Ability to obtain and maintain national police check.
Australian Citizenship is a condition of eligibility.
Ability to obtain and maintain a baseline security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a higher clearance if required by the Agency.
