Go Traffic is a leading traffic management provider operating across VIC, NSW and QLD, maintaining ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 certifications. As we continue to grow, we’re strengthening our national capability and seeking an experienced OHSEQ Manager to lead our systems, assurance program and ISO certification.
About You
You’re a senior OHSEQ professional who can work strategically and operationally, bringing strong experience in high‑risk environments, ownership of ISO 9001/14001/45001, solid multi‑state WHS knowledge, and confidence dealing with executives, auditors and regulators.
This hybrid role blends governance, assurance and regular field engagement across VIC, NSW and QLD to ensure our OHSEQ systems are practical, consistent and embedded.
The Role
You’ll own Go Traffic’s national OHSEQ management system and ISO certification, providing independent assurance, expert advice and escalation support. This role involves regular field time with operational leaders and Traffic Controllers across VIC, NSW and QLD to ensure systems are practical and genuinely embedded. It is not a site‑safety or purely office‑based role - operational safety execution remains with line management.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and maintain the national OHSEQ management system, ensuring policies, standards and systems remain compliant and effective.
* Manage ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 certifications, including audits, surveillance and ongoing readiness.
* Drive national consistency in OHSEQ practices across all states.
* Lead assurance activities such as audits, reviews, trend analysis and systemic risk escalation.
* Oversee incident management, supporting serious or notifiable incidents, regulator engagement and embedding lessons learned.
* Provide operational support and leadership, including during high‑risk activities, and coach leaders on effective risk control and safety practices.
Qualifications & Experience
* 8+ years in senior OHSEQ/HSEQ roles
* Demonstrated ISO certification and audit leadership
* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* Experience in traffic management, civil, construction or infrastructure (desired)
* ISO Lead Auditor qualification (desired)
