Destination Marketing Coordinator, Margaret River Region

This is an opportunity for a dynamic marketing professional to demonstrate their passion for the Margaret River Region, regional events and MRBTA's member businesses.
You will be driven to work closely with our event partners and members and to collaborate on representing their offerings through our destination marketing channels. Your role will include the opportunity to represent MRBTA at event opening nights and member product launches.
You will also have the chance to make your mark on our flagship Tales & Trails biannual print magazine, through coordinating the story generation process and commissioning editorial.
You must be based in region (Busselton to Augusta), with a mix of office-based and flexible working arrangements available. The main office base is in Margaret River, with subsidiary office space in Busselton.
Candidates seeking either 4 or 5 days per week will be considered.

Key Accountabilities
Event Marketing
Coordination of event marketing partnerships
Coordination of event marketing assets and rollout
Curation and coordination of monthly event article and eDMs
Overseeing website event content including articles and listings (with support from Marketing Officer)
Working with the marketing and social media coordinator on event media social strategy and implementation
Management of MRVC billboard schedule
Marketing
Copywriting skills (print and digital); editing and updating articles
Project management: coordination and delivery of Tails & Trails magazine
Coordination of paid member content including articles and paid ads on website
Website content coordination
Digital production of articles, itineraries, lists, events and general copy on website as required
Proactively identifying new opportunities to support members and events in the region
General support to the marketing team when required across a range of marketing tasks including, but not limited to, social media, events, website updates and amendments, and special campaigns and projects.

Adaptable & Resilient: Thrives in a dynamic environment, adjusting to shifting priorities as needed.
Skills and Experience
Relationship Management: Experience working with partners, members, and internal teams to deliver marketing initiatives.
Copywriting: Strong writing and editing skills for articles, eDMs, website updates, member content.
Digital & Social Media Marketing: Ability to support digital production, social media strategy, and website updates.
Website & CMS Proficiency: Familiarity with updating website content and publishing digital assets.
Analytical & Reporting Skills: Ability to measure success based on marketing strategies and stakeholder feedback.

The Margaret River Busselton Tourism Association (MRBTA) is a self-funded, not-for-profit, incorporated association with over 50 years' experience in supporting the Margaret River Region to thrive through tourism.
