The General Manager, Digital and Information will play a pivotal role in shaping and enabling this transformation - culturally, operationally and technologically. About the Role Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer and leading a team of approximately 55, the General Manager, Digital and Information, is accountable for: * Overseeing the delivery of secure, resilient and modern enterprise IT services, including architecture, applications, infrastructure and service management. * Ensuring the Commission maintains a strong cyber security posture, meets its business continuity obligations, and is operationally prepared to respond to digital risk or service disruption. * Ensuring that its core systems are reliable, resilient, available, stable and scalable in line with the organisation's transformation agenda and risk appetite statements * Leading the QBCC's information governance and records management functions, ensuring compliance with legislative and operational requirements while modernising supporting systems and processes. * Implementing and refining the QBCC's Technology Strategy, aligning enterprise architecture with future-state goals and capability uplift. * Accountable for the sponsorship of major digital transformation initiatives, working in close partnership with the Transformation and Change Division to deliver key outcomes on time, on budget, to quality expectations and benefit realisation. This role blends strategic clarity with hands-on oversight. You will shape direction, manage risk, uplift capability, and ensure that systems, services and teams are fit for purpose in an organisation undergoing significant transformation and reform.
