The Role
Tasks will include:
- Managing our marketing schedule
- Producing content for our magazine, published twice per year
- Writing copy for advertising
- Proofreading copy
- Maintaining and updating website content
- Populating event websites with program sessions and speakers
- Producing news articles from press releases
- Managing social media
- Segmenting our database of contacts to target specific audiences
- Attending occasional events and external meetings
This role would suit a new graduate, with full training provided. And it is an excellent opportunity to gain significant experience in the activities of a membership organisation that works closely with the not-for-profit sector.
- Is self-motivated and solution-focused with great attention to detail
- Is able to establish priorities, manage time, adapt to change, and work collaboratively with others
- Has excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Is fluent in English
- Has a Bachelor degree or higher, preferably in marketing
- Enjoys working in a close-knit team
Further details
This is an ongoing casual role with standard work hours equating to 3 days per week. All equipment will be provided. **Hybrid working options are available once training period and probation have been passed.**
Our office is located in Artarmon on Sydney's North Shore, close to Artarmon train station.
You must have full working rights in Australia and living in Sydney.
Hours: approx. 22-30 hours per week with the view to increasing as workload increases.
