Senior Electrician – Local Leadership Role
APG Plus is seeking an experienced Senior Electrician to take a leadership role within our growing electrical team. This is a hands‑on position where you'll lead by example, deliver quality work, and mentor the next generation of trades — all while working locally and being home every night.
You'll be involved across a diverse range of projects, supported by strong systems, skilled trades and a respected WA‑owned business.
About the Role
As a Senior Electrician, you'll play a key role in leading electrical works onsite, ensuring high standards of safety, compliance and workmanship. You'll oversee tradespeople while working closely with schedulers and clients to deliver projects smoothly and professionally.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain preventative and reactive maintenance schedules
* Create and update detailed digital job cards including labour, materials, tools, and equipment
* Ensure job cards are completed and closed out in a timely manner
* Liaise with suppliers and contractors to organise resources
* Maintain accurate asset and maintenance records
* Promote and support continuous improvement initiatives across the business
* Ensure team compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements
* Communicate regularly and respectfully with clients, customers and suppliers
* Ensure we meet customer KPIs and timelines
What We're Looking For
* Experience in maintenance planning within industrial, commercial, or facilities environments
* Understanding of mechanical, electrical, or multi‑discipline maintenance practices desired
* Proficiency with Microsoft systems (e.g., "Word, Excel, Project")
* Proficiency with CMMS systems (e.g., Ascora or similar)
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Ability to prioritise tasks in a fast‑paced environment
* Trade qualification or engineering background (highly regarded but not essential)
