The role of Executive Director Of Nursing And Midwifery is a high-level position within Hospitals South. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the nursing and midwifery workforce, developing strategic plans, and representing the organisation at regional, statewide, and national forums.
* Leadership across workforce planning, recruitment, retention, education, research, and succession planning.
* Development and implementation of nursing and midwifery strategic plans aligned with organisational and statewide priorities.
* Representing Hospitals South at regional, statewide, and national forums, contributing to the advancement of nursing and midwifery.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* A senior nursing or midwifery leadership position with a strong track record in operational management.
* Proven expertise in workforce planning, rostering, ratios, and clinical operations.
* Financial acumen and demonstrated experience managing budgets and driving efficiency.
* A collaborative, pragmatic leadership style with resilience and adaptability in complex, resource-constrained settings.
