The Opportunity


We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team based in Newcastle as an Apprentice Electronics & Communication Technician. This is a dynamic role with plenty of variety—no two days are the same Reporting to the Service Manager, you will support our customers by performing a mix of proactive preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and installation services. As part of Apprenticeship course studied at Tafe will be Cert III Electronics & Communications.


Key Responsibilities


· Attend customer sites to conduct fault finding and repair of electronic and communication equipment, either onsite or in the workshop

· Set up and configure equipment, hardware, and software.

· Maintain preventative maintenance schedules for electronic and communication devices

· Deliver exceptional customer service outcomes

· Work collaboratively with a team and independently as required


What We're Looking For


The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

· A strong interest in electronics, computers, and software applications

· Eagerness to learn about the latest technologies in communication systems

· Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team

· Exceptional customer service skills

· High attention to detail and the ability to multitask

· Willingness to travel for work, including some interstate trips

· Valid Australian driver's license (manual is advantageous but not essential)

Desirable:

· Construction Induction Safety certificate (White Card) (advantageous but not essential)

· Previous experience or studies in electronics, IT, or communications (advantageous but not essential)
