We're looking for an Assistant Marketing Manager to join on a 6-month fixed term contract, supporting the delivery of a compelling, locally distinctive customer experience across one of our retail assets. Working closely with the Marketing Manager and broader asset team, you'll help shape strategy, deliver standout experiences and activations, and build strong community and partner relationships that drive performance.
What you'll be doing
In this hands‑on role, you'll:
Champion the needs and expectations of customers and the local community through insight, research and engagement
Help curate and deliver exceptional experiential programs, events and activations
Support the development and execution of the asset's annual marketing plan in line with national objectives
Manage key guest journeys to ensure seamless, enjoyable experiences at every touchpoint
Support strategic community, media and brand partnerships in collaboration with the Commercial Partnerships team
Contribute to revenue growth through innovative programming, asset positioning and partnership opportunities
Coordinate visual merchandising, signage, advertising and local brand execution to a high standard
Manage digital channels including website, social media and email marketing to drive engagement and data growth
Assist with marketing budgets, forecasting, ROI analysis and financial processes
Play an active role in reputation management, PR support and Manager on Duty rotations
About you
You're a proactive, customer‑focused marketer who thrives in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment. You enjoy bringing ideas to life and take pride in delivering experiences that resonate with customers and communities.
You'll bring:
At least 2 years' experience in a marketing role, with exposure to people or project leadership
Experience delivering multi‑channel campaigns, experiences or activations
Digital marketing capability across websites, social media and email marketing
Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills
A creative eye for styling, presentation and visual merchandising
A strategic mindset, with the ability to adapt, problem‑solve and work through complexity
High proficiency in Microsoft Office and marketing systems
