Administration Assistant – Full Time


Mornington Golf Club | Mornington Peninsula

Mornington Golf Club is one of Victoria's most scenic and community-minded golf clubs, offering exceptional facilities for members and guests overlooking Port Phillip Bay.

We are looking for an energetic and organised Administration Assistant to join our friendly team in a full-time role. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a professional environment, and takes pride in providing outstanding service.

About the Role

You will work closely with the admin team and support all areas of the Club's day-to-day operations including membership, finance, events, and administration.

Your professionalism, attention to detail, and ability to multitask will help ensure the smooth and efficient running of the office.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements

* Provide administrative and clerical support to management and staff
* Assist with membership administration, renewals, and general enquiries
* Manage phone calls, emails, and reception duties
* Maintain accurate records, databases, and filing systems
* Assist with event coordination and member communications
* Prepare correspondence, reports, and meeting documentation
* Provide general office and administrative assistance to the General Manager and staff team.
* Maintain accurate digital and paper records, files, and correspondence.
* Manage incoming calls, emails, and front-desk enquiries in a courteous and efficient manner.
* Coordinate mailouts, printing, photocopying, and document preparation.
* Process invoices, payments, and receipts in line with Club procedures.
* Support banking, petty cash, and reconciliation activities as required.
* Assist with preparation of member newsletters, notices, website updates and social media.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general office technology.
* Discretion and confidentiality when handling Club and member information.
* Previous experience in an administration or customer service role (hospitality, sport, or membership organisation preferred).
* Knowledge of golf club operations or member-based organisations desirable.
