We are recruiting for two positions: a temporary Full‐time Short‐term Remand Program Coordinator in Wagga Wagga (up to 30 June 2027), and an ongoing Full‐time Senior Policy and Projects Officer in Parramatta.

* Clerk Grade 9/10 Salary (AUD 129,464 – 142,665 pa), plus employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading

Short‐term Remand Program Coordinator – Key Responsibilities
* Facilitate opportunities to engage and collaborate in the design of program elements.
* Coordinate the implementation of the program as designed, working with stakeholders to overcome implementation barriers.
* Develop a sound understanding of the services and supports available in the local market to support young people and their families to access the most effective and culturally appropriate services.
* Act as the central point of contact for agencies and service providers, managing incoming and outgoing referrals for young people in this cohort.
* Undertake risk and vulnerability assessments to assist in prioritising referrals and service responses.
* Provide support for multi‐agency case management panels.
* Coordinate and ensure collaboration between the agencies involved in the wrap‐around service solutions.
* Maintain confidentiality and support a culture of integrity.
Senior Policy and Projects Officer – Key Responsibilities
* Plan, manage and implement research, innovation and evaluation projects as allocated by the Manager.
* Facilitate opportunities to engage, collaborate and co‐design place‐based projects alongside young people, community members, government and non‐government organisations.
* Coordinate the implementation of the projects, working with key stakeholders to overcome implementation barriers.
* Maintain data to support the monitoring and evaluation of projects against Aboriginal Impact Statements, project plans and identified objectives.
* Manage and oversee major aspects of project management and implementation, including monitoring project plans, coordinating resources and managing budgets.
* Provide advice on youth justice interventions, including briefing notes and correspondence.
Qualifications
* Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline such as social work, law, psychology, sociology, criminology, project management or equivalent level experience.
* Current NSW Working with Children Check clearance.
* Willingness to undertake some statewide travel for the Senior Policy and Projects Officer role.
* Willingness to work from Wagga Wagga Police Station 2 days per week for the Short‐term Remand Program Coordinator role.
* National Criminal History Record Check in accordance with the Disability Inclusion Act 2014 (may be required).
