Job Overview
This General Practitioner role offers a unique opportunity to provide patient-centred care in a well-established medical centre. Reporting to the Practice Principal, you will be responsible for delivering competent healthcare services that address health needs and promote wellness.
Key Responsibilities
* Health Assessment and Treatment: Providing skilled health assessment, diagnosis, and treatment services to patients.
* Diagnostics and Referrals: Ordering diagnostic tests as needed and checking and informing patients of results in accordance with the practice's procedure. Refer patients appropriately to other providers if their needs exceed your capabilities.
* Collaboration and Communication: Consulting and collaborating with colleagues to provide optimal care. Documenting all care provided and education / information given to patients within their health record, in accordance with the practice's procedure.
* Professional Development: Maintaining professional knowledge and standards through continuing medical education and personal professional development.
* Quality Care: Practising medicine in a way that reflects quality over quantity, ensuring patients receive optimal care.
Requirements
* Registration: Registration as a medical practitioner with the Medical Board of Australia.
* Indemnity Insurance: Current medical indemnity insurance.
* Licences: Current driver's licence and cardiopulmonary resuscitation certificate.
* Mandatory Skills: Skilled communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and collaboratively, and capacity to prioritise and organise tasks effectively.
