Design, build and operate enterprise‐scale integrations that underpin critical digital platforms across Geospatial, CRM and ERP solutions.
We are seeking a senior, hands‐on integration engineer to deliver enterprise‐scale integration solutions across geospatial, platform and data environments. This role is critical to enabling secure, reliable system‐to‐system integration that supports analytics, reporting and long‐term enterprise geospatial capability.
About the team

This role sits within the Enterprise Platforms delivery stream of NSW Telco Authority.

The Enterprise Platforms stream enables core enterprise and geospatial platforms through integration, automation and configuration‐led delivery. The team focuses on how systems securely exchange data and events across the organisation and with external partners, supporting both the establishment and long‐term operation of an enterprise geospatial capability alongside other key platforms.
The Platforms stream works closely with the Data Engineering stream, with both teams jointly designing, building and operating the digital data and integration infrastructure that underpins analytics, reporting and downstream digital services.
Your responsibilities will include

* Designing, building and operating enterprise‐scale system‐to‐system integration solutions across geospatial, platform and data environments
* Applying configuration‐led and integration tooling approaches to deliver reliable, scalable and supportable integrations
* Leading end‐to‐end delivery of integration solutions, from design through build, deployment and operational support
* Working hands‐on with geospatial integration tooling (including FME) to enable secure and robust data flows
* Collaborating with data engineers, platform teams and non‐technical stakeholders to enable effective system integration
* Exercising independent technical judgement to resolve complex integration challenges and deliver outcomes with minimal supervision
* Contributing to integration patterns, standards and continuous improvement of enterprise integration capability

* Proven enterprise‐scale geospatial integration experience, including practical, production use of FME to deliver secure system‐to‐system integrations
* Ability to work effectively across geospatial, platform and data environments, applying configuration‐led and integration tooling approaches
* High level of autonomy, exercising independent technical judgement, while collaborating effectively with technical and non‐technical stakeholders to deliver outcomes with minimal supervision

Nice to have:

* Experience with enterprise geospatial platforms such as ArcGIS Enterprise or similar
* Exposure to data platforms and data engineering environments (e.g. Databricks or equivalent)
* Experience integrating with enterprise platforms and services (e.g. ServiceNow, identity platforms such as Okta, Entra, SaaS and APIs)
* Experience working in large, complex or public sector environments
