DPIRD is putting together a brand-new HR Operations team – and we’re recruiting talented HR generalists to join us in being part of a dynasty. This is your chance to join at ground level, help set the culture, and shape the way we deliver smart, people-focused HR support across the department.
There are currently two permanent, level 4 HR Operations Advisor and one permanent,level 5 HR Operations Consultant positions available for immediate filling.
The teams first point of contact, you will be answering general HR queries and guiding staff through HR processes, supporting HR establishment data integrity and Systems, while providing accurate and friendly advice. This will be your opportunity to build quality relationships with our employees and complete a variety of operational HR work.
You will be playing a leadership role in shaping how the team operates, taking on the more complex HR queries and being the contact point across teams. This role will require you to monitor trends and make change to our internal processes to deliver smarter and smoother services.

* Bring experience in HR generalist roles (public sector experience is a bonus, but not essential)

Employment Conditions and Additional Information
DPIRD is an Emergency Management Agency and all employees may be required to work or travel during, or outside of, normal business hours to assist with incidents and emergencies.
Am I eligible to apply?
To be eligible for a permanent appointment to the Western Australian public sector you must be an Australian citizen or have permanent residency status in Australia. To be eligible for a fixed term or a casual appointment you must have documentary evidence of your entitlement to live and work in Australia for the period as part of your application.
You will be required to provide a current National Police Certificate (police clearance) before commencing employment. If not currently held, this must be acquired prior to appointment at applicant’s expense.
