Your Role:
Reporting to the Executive Sous, you will coordinate the daily operations of our busy Culinary, Banquet, Events, and Conferencing department. Full-rounded expertise in a high-end environment or large-scale events is essential for this role.
About You:
* Relevant trade qualifications, such as Certificate 4 in commercial cooking or higher
* Previous experience as a senior banqueting leader within a 5-star hotel environment or large-scale catering/events venue
* A creative and innovative approach to food production
* Proven leadership, coaching, and mentoring abilities
* Confidence in executing and coordinating multiple functions simultaneously
* Knowledge of HACCP fundamentals and food safety monitoring
* Technical expertise in various cooking techniques, flavors, and cuisines
* Ability to manage food budgets and costings
* Capacity to work under pressure and plan ahead
