ABOUT US
We are proud to have recently joined Harmony Australasia. Harmony is the largest gold producer by volume in South Africa and is a significant operator of gold tailings retreatment facilities. In Papua New Guinea, Harmony owns and operates the Hidden Valley mine and owns 50% of the Tier 1 Wafi‐Golpu copper‐gold project. In Australia, Harmony owns the high‐grade CSA copper mine in Cobar, NSW and is currently preparing to progress the Execution Phase of the Eva Copper Mine Project in QLD. These assets are supported by the Harmony Australasia regional corporate office located in Milton, Brisbane. The CSA Mine is located in Cobar NSW and is Australia's highest‐grade copper mine.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Working FIFO to our CSA Cobar operation, you will play a crucial role in building capability, enhancing culture and ensuring our people feel supported and set up for success.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Provide trusted advice to site leaders across ER/IR, performance, capability and workforce planning
* Lead case management for workforce matters, ensuring fair consistent outcomes
* Partner with leaders to improve engagement, retention, and team effectiveness by developing and implementing meaningful initiatives
* Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures that align with operational goals and compliance requirements
* Facilitate training and development programs to enhance leadership skills and engagement
* Coach leaders in people management and support positive workplace culture development
ABOUT YOU
* Relevant HR qualifications (Diploma or Degree in Human Resources or related field)
* Experience in an HR advisory or generalist role across the full employee lifecycle
* Previous experience within mining or heavy industry is essential
* Solid knowledge of employment legislation, industrial relations, and best practice HR frameworks
* Ability to build strong relationships and influence at all levels of the site
