About the OPPORTUNITY
We currently have an exciting leadership opportunity for a motivated leader to own the Product Design & Lifecycle Management (PLM) capabilities. This is a new role responsible for a Product Team delivering services for the Maritime business unit, reporting to the Business Systems Manager – Maritime.
Key responsibilities include:
* Provide Leadership to the Product Lifecycle Management Product Team.
* Partner with business stakeholders and the architecture team, ensuring the product(s) remain fit for purpose, aligning to the strategy and capability roadmaps.
* Lead Service Delivery to provide our Maritime customer a service that exceeds expectations, working with the team to ensure service standards are effectively implemented, incidents, service requests, & problems are managed through to closure.
* Working with the PLM Delivery Lead, Partner with stakeholders to plan and deliver key projects and activities within agreed schedules.
* Working with the PLM Operations Lead, lead Operational activities with the team ensuring services are appropriately patched, upgraded, available, supportable and cyber secure.
* Take Ownership of the product(s), establishing an agreed pipeline, driving continuous improvement, overseeing financials, and representing the Maritime IM&T function for all matters PLM.
* Manage services within Governance & Change Management frameworks.
About YOU
* Experience in stakeholder management, product strategy and product development.
* Demonstrated experience leading a team and end-to-end product delivery cycles.
* Conceptual knowledge of PLM, CAD/CAE/CAM toolsets and integrations.
* Experience working in scrum teams and managing a pipeline of work.
* Ability to think critically, drive continuous improvement and think ahead.
* Defence security clearance, or eligibility to obtain and eligibility to be cleared for International Traffic In Arms (ITAR) regulations.
