Position Overview
Minchinbury Public School has an enrolment of 420 students, including 7% Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students and 53% of students from a non‐English speaking background. The school has a strong emphasis on wellbeing and promotes the core values of Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL). The role supports academic, sporting, and extracurricular learning experiences in line with the school's vision.
Specific Selection Criteria
* Approval to teach Library or currently in the process of undertaking Teacher Librarian qualifications approved by the NSW Department of Education.
* Demonstrated skill in managing a school library, including library management systems, digital technology and implementation of whole school events and programs aligned with the teacher librarian role.
* Demonstrated communication, interpersonal and organisational skills to work collaboratively and build authentic relationships across the school community.
Conditions
An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
