Reporting to the Domestic Services Coordinator, this position will see you based at RAAF Base Pearce in Bullsbrook, WA, where you will be responsible for maintaining supervision and safety of the Pool area.This is a casual position with morning and afternoon shifts covering a 7day period.Morning Shift: 07:45am - 01:00pmAfternoon Shift: 01:00pm - 06:00pmMorning Shift: 10:00am – 02:00pmAfternoon Shift: 02:00pm – 06:00pmThe roles will commence in October and will cover the pool summer season (October to March).
There may be other possibilities towards the end of the season to support other areas of the base, including Hospitality & Catering, water deliveries and more.The payrate for this position is $28.38 per hour + casual loading.To be considered for this position, you must be an Australian Citizen and willing to undergo a police check.Key duties, but not limited to:Providing safety advice, performing rescues, first aid and resuscitation as requiredRemoving Pool covers when opening the pool and recovering at closing periodsChecklist is run through daily, removing leaves / debris, testing chlorine and PH levels of the water, starting pumps etcAnswer any general enquires / questions as neededRequirements:Driver's License with your own reliable carPool Lifeguard CertificationProvide First AidWorking with Childrens CheckThe CompanyVentia is a leading infrastructure services company, operating across Australia and New Zealand.
