Australis Institute (AITE) is looking for a casual General English teacher for 2 or 3 days for face to face classes and that may increase as we are expecting a high volume of students arriving from Offshore throughout the year.

**We have ELICOS Teacher position available at our vibrant and prestigious teaching team at Australis Institute at our Gold Coast Campus.**
- A recognised degree or higher or equivalent in any discipline
- A recognised TESOL qualification e.g.: Masters in Tesol, Certificate IV or CELTA (if you have overseas qualifications, then they must be recognised in accordance to Australia's educational requirements)
- Have a comprehensive understanding of the responsibilities under the National Code 2007, the ESOS Act 2000, the ELICOS National Standards and any relevant State requirement
- Experience in teaching at a college in Australia is highly desirable
- Experience with International and also local students is highly desirable
- Participation and evidence of professional development
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Advanced computer skills
- Friendly, passionate, flexible and a motivated individual
The hourly pay rate is based upon relevant qualifications and industry experience. **ABN is required.**
