About the Role

Step into a role where leadership meets learning. As a Program Lead, you influence the future of Nursing and Sterilisation programs while staying connected to learners and industry practices. Working alongside passionate teaching teams, you will guide program quality, support people to thrive and create learning experiences students value and remember.

Each role brings a unique campus focus. At the City campus, you will lead Nursing and Sterilisation programs with an active teaching component. At Werribee, your focus centres on Nursing, with a stronger teaching allocation paired with program leadership. Both roles offer variety, influence and the chance to make a real impact every day.

Some key responsibilities for this role include:

* Leading and supporting teaching teams through coaching and development
* Managing teacher utilisation including workplans, leave and timetables
* Leading the design, delivery and ongoing improvement of engaging VET programs
* Ensuring programs meet VET Quality Standards, legislation and organisational requirements
* Teaching within your program to maintain industry currency and strong student connection

About You

You are a registered nurse and a people-centred educational leader who enjoys combining strategic thinking with hands-on teaching. You communicate clearly, lead with care, and keep learners front of mind in every decision.

Additionally, you will have:

* Teaching qualification at AQF Level 6 or above (aligned to Victorian TAFE Teaching Staff Agreement 2024).
* Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (current and compliant with training package requirements).
* Experience leading VET programs or teaching teams in a regulated environment
* A strong working knowledge of VET compliance and quality frameworks
* Well-developed coaching, mentoring and stakeholder engagement skills
* AHPRA registration and industry currency
* Current industry expertise and teaching capability in Nursing and/or Sterilisation

Salary Range:

EM2 – $136,711.00 + Superannuation (Paid at the current superannuation guarantee rate.)
