Eligibility
To be eligible for this position, you must meet one of the following criteria:
1. Hold General, Provisional or limited registration with AHPRA or be eligible to obtain
2. Be an IMG completing UK Foundation Programme
3. Have completed AMC MCQ (part 1) or both AMC 1 & 2 (clinical exam)
4. Be eligible via Competent Authority Pathway (training in the UK, USA, NZ, Canada or Ireland)
5. Be assessed by RACP College as partially or substantially comparable (doctors currently interviewing with RACP may express interest)
6. Be interested in foreign training via Short Term Training Specialist pathway (STT)
7. Have experience working as a General Medicine Registrar
The Position
This is a unique opportunity to work as a General Medicine Registrar at a leading teaching tertiary hospital.
You will be part of a traditional firm of doctors, including consultant, other registrars, medical officers and interns. The shift pattern varies depending on your rotation, but typically includes a combination of days, evenings and nights over a 7-day week.
The hospital has experience working with overseas trained registrars, making it easy to comply with AHPRA regulations and demonstrate supervision and monitoring.
