Your Role
As the Golf Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for supporting the Golf Operations Manager in coordinating day-to-day operations, ensuring a seamless guest experience, and leading the Golf Operations team. This role is actively involved in all aspects of the guest journey, team supervision, equipment management and operational standards across the course.
Where you'll make an impact
* Lead, supervise, coach and support the Golf Operations team during daily shifts, ensuring high performance and service standards.
* Support the Golf Operations Manager with onboarding, rostering, staff training, workflow planning and daily briefings.
* Oversee daily course operations including guest arrival experience, tee-sheet flow, and golfer movements.
* Proactively monitor and maintain course pace-of-play through effective marshalling and guest engagement.
* Support management of buggy fleet operations including cleanliness, charging, rotation, basic maintenance checks and accurate damage reporting.
* Assist with the presentation, allocation and stock control of hire clubs, golf shoes and related equipment, ensuring quality standards are maintained.
* Supervise guest transfers between the jetty and clubhouse, ensuring safe, timely and professional service.
* Deliver exceptional guest service including course briefings, safety inductions, local knowledge and effective issue resolution.
* Assist in the planning and delivery of tournaments, corporate events, sole-use days and large group bookings.
What we're looking for
We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills and the patience to work effectively with team members. Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage time efficiently are essential in this role.
To be successful, you will need
* Minimum 2 years Golf Operations experience (Essential), with leadership exposure (Desirable)
* QLD Open Drivers License
* Must be eligible and willing to obtain QLD Restricted Driver Authority (Essential)
* QLD or Nationally Accredited RSA (Essential)
* PGA trained or individuals pursuing a golf career (Desirable)
