Our client is a dynamic and rapidly expanding finance brokerage located here in Newcastle. Looking to provide additional support to their highly successful brokers they feel it is an ideal time to nurture and develop a new Broking Assistant.
Having great success in the residential lending sector due to their broking teams focus on delivering tailored solutions to their clients, the need for someone to join their support team is critical to their ongoing growth. This is where you come in.
Their office is based in Newcastle and parking is available. The office is close plenty of food and coffee options as well as public transport.
About The Role

Ideally suited to either a recent Finance Graduate seeking a fabulous "first role" or somebody who has worked in the banking sector (loan processing or business banking) and is now ready to take the next step career wise. The keys to your success will be energy, enthusiasm and a desire to make a difference.
On a day-to-day basis, this role spans three key areas:
Application & Documentation Management
* Prepare, package, and submit asset finance and mortgage applications to lenders, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
* Liaise with clients to gather, verify, and manage all required financial documents, such as invoices, financial statements, identification, and loan documentation.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all client and lender correspondence throughout the application process.
Stakeholder Communication
* Act as the key point of contact for clients, lenders, and referral partners, providing regular updates and ensuring smooth communication at every stage of the finance process.
* Coordinate with internal brokers and external stakeholders to facilitate timely approvals and resolve queries efficiently.
Administrative & Operational Support
* Perform data entry, document preparation, and correspondence management to maintain operational efficiency.
* Provide administrative support to brokers, assisting with loan documentation, application processing, and workflow coordination.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of systems, processes, and procedures to enhance the efficiency and quality of lending operations.
Full on-the-job training will be provided by the firm's experienced office manager.
About You
To be considered for this role, you will need to possess most of the following:
* Highly developed verbal and written communication skills
* Either a few years working in the financial services sector or recent a Commerce/Finance degree
* Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and priorities effectively
* Proficiency in using MS Suite and an ability to pick up new technology quickly
* A keen eye for detail and a commitment to ensuring the accuracy and completeness of loan documentation
* A customer-centric approach and the ability to provide a high level of service to both brokers and clients
