We are seeking a passionate, knowledgeable, and driven Assistant Director to lead, inspire, support, and manage our team of Educators, overseeing the day‐to‐day operations of Imagine Childcare and Kindergarten Nowra.
This is a permanent position, Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours a week.
In your new role you will:
* Manage day‐to‐day operations of the centre in line with legislative requirements, company policies, and procedures.
* Provide leadership, mentoring and guidance to all staff.
* Ensure high‐quality early learning programmes are delivered by our passionate team of Educators.
* Manage staffing rosters efficiently.
* Assist in effectively managing the financial requirements of the centre within budget guidelines.
* Attract, convert and retain families by managing tours, enrolments and orientation with the Enrolments Team.
* Maintain high‐quality standards for centre presentation and work practices.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with children, families, Educators, local businesses and other stakeholders.
About you
* A Diploma in Children's Services or Early Childhood Degree approved by ACECQA.
* Minimum 1 year's experience as Assistant Director in an early childhood setting.
* Current WWCC and approved first aid, CPR, anaphylaxis, and asthma qualifications.
* Extensive understanding of the Victorian Early Years Learning Development Framework (VEYLDF), National Quality Standards (NQS), and Quality Improvement Plan (QIP).
* Excellent understanding of CCS and QikKids.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to lead and mentor a team of qualified and committed early childhood professionals.
* Willingness to coordinate ongoing professional development training for Educators.
* Ability to incorporate critical thinking and reflective practice into day‐to‐day practice.
