MRI Tutor Role

As an MRI tutor, you will play a vital role in developing the next generation of MRI professionals. Your primary responsibility will be to provide clinical education and mentorship to radiographers and students across our MRI team.

You will work closely with managers, modality leads, and training coordinators to ensure our people remain up-to-date with the latest MRI techniques, technologies, and safety standards. This is an excellent opportunity to support our dedicated teams across various locations and contribute to the growth and development of our staff.

* Develop and implement structured training programs to enhance learner skills and confidence.
* Provide regular assessments and reporting to the MRI Training Coordinator and Modality Leads.
* Contribute to the design and delivery of educational resources, workshops, and training plans.
* Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices to ensure training remains relevant and future-focused.
* Promote collaboration, continuous improvement, and a supportive team environment.


Required Skills and Qualifications

* Minimum 5 years of clinical experience in MRI, with strong knowledge of protocols, physics, anatomy, pathology, and safety standards.
* Full AHPRA registration as a Medical Radiation Practitioner.
* Postgraduate Certificate in MRI, ASMIRT Level 1 Accreditation, or equivalent.
* Experience using various MRI systems (e.g., Siemens) and adaptability across platforms.
* Proven ability to mentor junior radiographers or students, with a passion for supporting professional development.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and adapt teaching to different learning levels.
* Willingness to travel across locations and adjust training approaches based on local needs.
* Commitment to continuous improvement of both clinical and teaching practices and fostering a learning-focused team culture.
* Working with Children Check or willingness to apply.
* National Police Clearance or willingness to apply.
* Travel across both metro and regional clinics is a requirement of this role.
