As an Enrolled Nurse at John Hunter Hospital, you will have access to tailored education programs, study days, and our Enrolled Nurse Transition Program to build confidence, develop your skills, and achieve your goals. With a smooth orientation, ongoing guidance, and clear pathways across medical, interventional, and surgical specialties, you'll be set up to start strong and grow your career. Scheduled for completion in September 2026, the $835 million JHH North development will provide new state-of-the-art facilities where you can participate in research, clinical care, and innovation.
This development will see the addition of:
* An expanded Emergency Department
* Advanced Intensive Care Units
* 22 operating theatres and nine interventional suites
* Enhanced women's services
* A dedicated Child and Adolescent Mental Health Unit
