PositionBusiness Development ManagerPosition TypeFull-TimeSalary$90,000 to $110,000 plus superannuation per annumLocationMilton QLD ****Our client is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join their firm based in Milton, Queensland.Duties and ResponsibilitiesFollow ups of leads produced by business development, presentations, conferences, speaking engagements, virtual presentations such as webinars, existing clients and past clients, referral partners, social media, lead generation companies and any other activity undertaken by the employer and its related entitiesOrganising meetings and consultations with Lawyers and Directors as required and plannedArrange schedules and calendars as requiredBuild relationships with organisations, referral partners, referral sources and ClientsBuild internal relationships to assist with cross pollination of leads and workflowIdentify business opportunitiesAssist on business development, sales and marketing campaignsAssist with closing any sales and business opportunitiesResponding to incoming email and phone enquiries as requiredCold and warm calling to arrange meetings with potential clients, current Clients and past clients to prospect for new businessListening to client requirements and presenting our service in a structured professional way either face to face or virtually to assist in conversion, consultations and meetingsAssist the marketing, business development teams and lawyers with logistics with regards to conferences, presentations, road shows, trade tables and other activity as requiredMaintaining and developing relationships with existing clients in person and via telephone calls, emails and virtualAssist with CRM implementation and useActing as a contact between the lawyers and existing and potential marketsAssisting with business development strategy and planningGaining a clear understanding of clients' businesses and requirementsAssisting in providing accurate and punctual proposals whilst ensuring it passes the procedures set in place by the EmployerChallenging any objections with a view to getting the client to proceed with the Employer's services or the objective such as meetings with lawyersNegotiating the terms of an agreement (including price, costs, delivery and specifications)Creating client agreements, often as part of a formal bidding process that is largely dictated by the prospective clientAssisting with tenders and proposals as directedResearching the market and related productsRepresenting the Employer at trade exhibitions, seminar events and demonstrationsAdvising clients on forthcoming product developments and discussing special promotionsMonitor and minimise client complaints and work towards a positive and successful client relationshipAttending team meetings and sharing best practice with colleagues.RequirementsBachelor's degree or equivalent overseas qualificationAt least five (5) years of relevant experience may substitute the formal qualificationsA minimum of five (5) years of demonstrated experience in business development.Proven track record of achieving and exceeding business growth and revenue targets.Experience in identifying, developing and managing strategic partnerships and key client relationships.Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills with a proven ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships.
