Green Wave Accountants is a progressive Melbourne boutique public practice firm, and we're hiring a Senior Manager – Business Services & Tax to join our leadership team.

THE ROLE
Reporting directly to the Partners, you'll manage your own portfolio of quality SME, private group and HNW clients, lead a team of accountants, and play a central role in shaping how we grow.
You'll be responsible for:
* Owning a portfolio of business services clients – building relationships, advising on tax, structuring and strategy.
* Reviewing financial statements, tax returns and BAS/IAS prepared by your team.
* Leading on complex advisory work – business sales, restructures, Division 7A, CGT, succession planning.
* Mentoring, coaching and developing a team of Senior Accountants, Accountants and Graduates.
* Working with the Partners on practice growth, business development and firm strategy.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce or a related discipline (Masters of Tax desirable, not essential).
* 8–12 years' post-qualification experience in Australian public practice.
* Strong technical grounding in Australian tax – income tax, GST, FBT, CGT, Division 7A, small business concessions.
* A track record of reviewing work and developing junior staff.
* Commercially minded – you genuinely enjoy talking to business owners about their businesses.
* Growth-oriented and engaged in your own development (whether or not you're chasing a partner pathway).
